Overview

Our Jack container cabin brings an open interior to hunting properties, weekend retreats, and guest accommodations. Built from a green new one-trip steel container, it combines a compact footprint with a kitchenette, full bathroom, and installed utilities.

Layout & Design

The open layout keeps the living area flexible. Dark soft-close lower kitchen cabinets, butcher-block counters, and a stainless farmhouse sink create a dedicated food-preparation area. The full bathroom includes a shower and vanity.

Built-in bunk beds and a wood stove are included. A rooftop deck, security shutters, and fresh-water storage are available upgrades. Alternative finishes available on request.

Materials & Build Quality

Steel reinforcement supports the container structure. Closed-cell spray foam, an insulated subfloor, and insulated walls and ceiling form the thermal envelope. Vinyl plank flooring, natural wood-plank wall lining, and glazed entry doors complete the cabin.

Installed systems include mini-split heating and cooling, PEX supply piping, PVC drainage, and a propane tankless water heater.

Ideal Uses

The Jack suits a hunting camp, fishing retreat, farm accommodation, guest cabin, or remote office. A generator connection supports an external power source. Arrange power, water, wastewater service, and local permits for your site.

Prepare level, firm, well-drained ground and an appropriate pier, slab, or ground-screw foundation. Allow an 80 ft (24.38 m) approach and 15 ft (4.57 m) overhead clearance. Provide a 20 ft by 30 ft (6.10 m by 9.14 m) crane pad within 25 ft (7.62 m) of placement, keeping power lines at least 20 ft (6.10 m) from the lift path. Arrange local permits and licensed utility connections.
