20ft Refurbished Cold Storage Container – Freezer/Cooler

Overview

Add refrigerated or frozen storage without constructing a permanent cold room. This refurbished container provides a dedicated enclosure for commercial perishables, with adjustable temperature settings from -18°C to +4°C (approx. 0°F to 39°F). It supports operations that need additional capacity for seasonal demand, temporary projects, or ongoing storage.

The refrigeration retrofit includes a new Copeland digital scroll compressor and Larkin evaporators. A digital controller displays the internal temperature and lets operators adjust the setting for their storage requirements. The refrigeration system is installed on the container rather than supplied as separate equipment.

Materials & Build Quality

A corrugated steel exterior surrounds an insulated storage enclosure. High-density polyurethane insulation extends through the walls, floor, and ceiling to limit heat transfer. The insulation thickness is 100–150 mm (approx. 3.94–5.91 in).

The unit has a ribbed floor, interior fans, a purple exterior, and protective metal mesh around external refrigeration machinery. A lockable hinged entry door incorporates a heavy-duty seal.
