These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of shipping containers and related logistics services. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

1. Business Identity & Legal Entity

Lease Lane Containers LLC is a registered business based in Raleigh, North Carolina (D-U-N-S 14-550-7888; EIN 42-1805240; 5832 Lease Ln, Ste B, Raleigh, NC 27617). All references to "the Company," "we," "us," or "our" refer to Lease Lane Containers LLC. By using this website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and possess the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Product Specifications & Grading Standards

We sell industrial-grade shipping containers. To ensure transparency, we adhere to the following industry grading standards:

• One-Trip (New): Units manufactured overseas and shipped to the US once; in near-perfect condition.
• Cargo Worthy (CW): Used units inspected and certified for international maritime transit.
• Wind & Watertight (WWT): Used units guaranteed to be weatherproof with functioning seals and no structural holes.
• Refurbished: Used units that have been cleaned, primed, and repainted.

Disclaimer: Used containers will naturally exhibit minor surface rust, dings, and scratches. These are cosmetic and do not constitute a "defective" product under these Terms.

3. Container Homes: What "Fully Furnished" Means

Where a container home is described as "fully furnished," this refers to built-in amenities only: interior finishes, bathroom fit-out, kitchen fit-out (cabinetry, countertops, sink), electrical and plumbing. Loose furniture and appliances, including but not limited to beds, mattresses, couches, tables, chairs, televisions, refrigerators and microwaves, are not included unless expressly listed in your written quote. Product photos may show staging furniture for illustration only.

4. Billing, Pricing & Payments

To comply with Google's transparency standards:

• Currency: All prices are listed in USD.
• Total Price: The total price includes the unit cost, free standard shipping where applicable, and applicable sales tax. There are no hidden fees or standard fuel surcharges added after the sale for eligible deliveries.
• Payment Methods: As listed on our Payment Policy page.
• Financing: Financing is not currently available through Lease Lane Containers LLC. If you'd like to finance your purchase, we recommend speaking with your own bank or a local lender.
• Security: All transactions are processed via secure, encrypted 256-bit SSL connections. We do not store sensitive financial credentials on our servers.

5. Shipping & Delivery Logistics

• Delivery Coverage: We offer free standard shipping on eligible container orders delivered within the contiguous United States (Lower 48 states).
• Timeline: Containers are delivered about a week and a half after full payment is received.
• Call-Ahead: Our driver will call you one day before delivery.
• Offloading: Containers are delivered and offloaded by crane.
• Site Responsibility: The customer is solely responsible for ensuring the delivery site is level, firm (concrete, gravel, or dry hard-packed earth), and accessible to the delivery truck and crane, with no overhead obstructions.
• Liability: Lease Lane Containers LLC and its carriers are not liable for property damage resulting from delivery to a site that is not properly prepared.
• Excluded Areas: Free standard shipping does not automatically apply to non-standard delivery zones, remote service areas, or locations outside the Lower 48 states. Additional logistics charges may apply in those cases and will be disclosed before order confirmation.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Our policies regarding returns and refunds are governed by our dedicated Refund & Returns Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• 30-Day Window: We offer a 30-day window for eligible return requests and structural defect claims, subject to our Refund & Returns Policy.
• Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery to receive a full refund.
• Refund Processing: All approved refunds are processed within 10 business days.
• Change-of-Mind Returns: Free outbound shipping does not include return freight for non-defective returns. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns remain the customer's responsibility unless otherwise stated in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lease Lane Containers LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business or profits, arising from the use of our products or delays in delivery caused by weather, traffic, port congestion, or mechanical failure.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your purchase shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Raleigh, NC, before any legal action is pursued in a court of law.
