Overview
Our new 20ft Studio Container Home – Rooftop Terrace pairs an open-plan sleeping area with a separate rooftop retreat. Approximately 142 sq ft (13.2 m²) of interior living space sits beneath a 160 sq ft (14.9 m²) terrace. The yellow corrugated exterior contrasts with black-framed glazing and dark terrace finishes. One bathroom is included; there is no kitchen.

Layout & Design
Sliding glass doors occupy both long walls near the sleeping area, with a larger glazed opening at the front and a smaller slider at the rear. Additional glass panels enclose the sleeping-area end wall. At the opposite end, retained cargo doors open directly into the bathroom.
Inside, light plank flooring, a gray accent wall, and a white ceiling create a restrained palette. Recessed lighting serves the living area and bathroom. An exterior steel staircase at the glazed end leads to the roof terrace, enclosed by black steel railings with mesh infill.
Materials & Build Quality
The structure uses a heavy-gauge CorTen steel frame with insulated wall, floor, and roof panels. Closed-cell spray foam provides R-19 wall insulation and R-30 equivalent roof insulation. Interior finishes include LVP flooring and tiled wet-room surfaces. Alternative finishes available on request. Dark composite decking covers the rooftop terrace.

Prepare level, firm, well-drained ground and a suitable pier, slab, or ground-screw foundation. Arrange local permits and licensed utility connections.
Provide an 80 ft (24.38 m) approach and 14 ft (4.27 m) overhead clearance for truck and crane access. Reserve a level, firm crane pad measuring 20 ft × 30 ft (6.10 m × 9.14 m), within 25 ft (7.62 m) of the placement point. Keep power lines at least 20 ft (6.10 m) from the lift path.
