The 2024 Rice Trailers PTHD20 combines a full-tilt loading platform with a compact equipment-hauling layout. This new, black trailer has a gross vehicle weight rating of 16,000 lb (7,258 kg), a dry weight of 4,080 lb (1,851 kg), and a payload of 11,920 lb (5,407 kg).
Layout & Design
The open deck measures 20 ft (6.10 m) long by 7 ft (2.13 m) wide. Its full-tilt design lowers for drive-on loading, then returns toward level as equipment moves forward. Separate loading ramps are unnecessary. An integrated storage box provides a place for tie-down gear, while the added D-rings offer securement attachment points.
Materials & Build
Pressure-treated decking sits on a channel-frame structure with formed-channel crossmembers. Fabricated hard fenders and a complete powder-coated finish round out the exterior. Two cambered, electric-braked axles each carry an 8,000 lb (3,629 kg) rating and feature easy-lubrication hubs.
A sealed modular wiring harness serves the light-emitting diode lighting. The adjustable coupler and support jack provide practical connection and parking hardware.
