This new 2024 Diamond C DEC20724x102 deckover provides an open platform for moving equipment, attachments, and palletized materials. Its black powder-coated finish pairs with full Blackwood decking, while the rated payload of 10,510 lb (4,767 kg) establishes a clear limit for cargo planning.
Layout & Design
The deck measures 24 ft (7.32 m) long by 8.5 ft (2.59 m) wide. Positioned above the tires, it leaves the loading surface free of wheel-well intrusions. A 48 in (121.92 cm) dovetail works with 72 in (182.88 cm) flip-knee ramps, and retractable front steps provide deck access.
A raised deck also increases loaded height. Check equipment dimensions and route clearances before transporting taller machinery.
Materials & Build
An I-beam frame and closely spaced I-beam crossmembers support the Blackwood deck. Two axles, each rated at 7,000 lb (3,175 kg), have electric drum brakes and six-leaf slipper spring suspension. The gross vehicle weight rating is 14,900 lb (6,759 kg); empty weight is 4,390 lb (1,991 kg).
