10-Module Container Home – The Ultimate, 3-Bedroom Courtyard

Overview

The Ultimate combines ten new high-cube container modules into a courtyard residence with three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Approximately 2,400 sq ft (223.0 m²) of conditioned living space pairs with approximately 1,200 sq ft (111.5 m²) of timber deck and covered pavilion. The central plunge pool anchors an outdoor setting with a meditation garden and fire-pit area.

Layout & Design

The great hall joins kitchen, dining, and living areas within a 40 ft × 16 ft (12.19 m × 4.88 m) space. A 24 ft (7.32 m) multi-slide glass wall opens toward the courtyard. The west wing holds the bedrooms, including a primary suite with a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom. Each bedroom has a full-height garden-deck slider.

A separate wing contains the built-in office, north-lit art studio, and recovery room. Courtyard decking meets the interior thresholds at the same level. Above the great hall, a guarded roof deck adds another outdoor setting.

Materials & Build Quality

CorTen ISO shells incorporate welded portal frames at removed walls. Closed-cell spray foam insulates the walls, roof, and underfloor. Thermally broken aluminum openings use low-E double glazing. The exterior combines black corrugated surfaces with black anodized glazing frames; kitchen finishes pair walnut and matte black cabinetry with quartz.

Ideal Uses

The separate sleeping, work, and wellness areas suit a primary residence, creative live-work home, or private retreat. Guest and short-stay uses require local approvals.

Prepare level, firm, well-drained ground and the foundation. Allow an 80 ft (24.38 m) approach and 15 ft (4.57 m) overhead clearance. Provide a firm, level 20 ft × 30 ft (6.10 m × 9.14 m) crane pad within 25 ft (7.62 m) of placement, with power lines at least 20 ft (6.10 m) from the lift path. Arrange local permits and licensed utility connections before installation.
