Overview
This 40 ft (12.19 m) gooseneck tilt bed trailer combines hydraulic deck movement with eight side-mounted winches for container handling. It is intended for operators moving shipping containers or repositioning storage containers between sites. Two axles with electric brakes and dual wheels form the running gear.
Layout & Design
The floorless frame is arranged around container rails rather than loose cargo. A tapered rear leads to a 24 in (60.96 cm) tail plate with keyholes for anchoring. The adjustable gooseneck coupler allows hitch-height adjustment, while two support jacks serve the front of the trailer.
Materials & Build
The frame and neck use 12 in (30.48 cm) I-beams. Angle-iron skid runners protect the frame where containers slide, and a torque tube adds rigidity under uneven loading. An enamel finish covers the trailer.
