2016 Sundowner 3 Horse Gooseneck – Aluminum, Dressing Room

Overview

This used 2016 Sundowner three-horse gooseneck pairs an all-aluminum build with a separate dressing room. Its horse capacity, included spare tire, and manual jack make it a practical choice for owners seeking a trailer with clearly defined hauling and preparation spaces.

Layout & Design

The box measures approx. 16 ft 10 in (5.13 m) long, with an outside width of approx. 7 ft (2.13 m) and an interior height of approx. 7 ft (2.13 m). The dressing room has an approx. 4 ft (1.22 m) short wall and an approx. 9 ft (2.74 m) long wall, providing separate space for changing and organizing supplies. A rear escape door offers another access point to the horse area.

Materials & Build

Aluminum construction extends from the frame to the exterior skin, with an aluminum floor rather than a wood floor. The axle rating is approx. 6,000 lb (2,722 kg), and the gross vehicle weight rating is approx. 13,000 lb (5,897 kg). Confirm tow-vehicle and hitch ratings before planning your loaded configuration; horse count alone does not establish available payload.

What's Included

• Three-horse gooseneck trailer with dressing room
• Aluminum floor and rear escape door
• Manual jack
• Spare tire

Ideal Uses

Consider this trailer for transporting up to three horses to training sessions, equestrian events, or trail outings. The dressing room separates personal preparation and supply storage from the horse space. As with any used trailer, inspect the floor, welds, running gear, and coupler before use.
