2014 Sundowner 2 Horse Gooseneck Trailer – Electric Jack

Overview

The 2014 Sundowner 2HGN brings together two-horse capacity, aluminum construction, and a gooseneck hitch. A dedicated dressing room separates riding gear from the horse area, while an electric jack adds powered assistance when connecting or disconnecting the trailer.

Layout & Design

The box measures 12 ft (3.66 m) long, with an exterior width of 6 ft 8 in (2.03 m). Interior height is 7 ft (2.13 m). The dressing room has a 2 ft (0.61 m) short wall and a 7 ft (2.13 m) long wall, providing a separate area for organizing travel essentials.

Horse suitability depends on more than overhead clearance. Confirm stall dimensions, loading arrangement, and each horse's needs before selecting this trailer.

Materials & Build

The stated construction is aluminum throughout. Running gear includes tandem axles rated at 3,500 lb (1,588 kg) each and 16 in (40.64 cm) tires. The listed gross vehicle weight rating is 8,750 lb (3,969 kg); empty weight is approx. 3,200 lb (1,452 kg).

The axle ratings and gross rating require verification against the trailer's identification plate before making payload or tow-vehicle decisions. No usable payload is asserted here.
