2000 Sundowner 2 Horse Gooseneck Trailer – Dressing Room

Overview

The 2000 Sundowner 7204GNST is a used two-horse gooseneck trailer with a separate dressing room and an escape door. Its 15 ft (4.57 m) box brings horse transport and gear storage together in a practical layout for trips to shows, trailheads, or veterinary appointments.

Layout & Design

Interior height measures 7 ft 5 in (2.26 m), while exterior width is 6 ft 9 in (2.06 m). Confirm the available stall space suits your horses; height alone does not establish a comfortable fit.

The dressing room has both a short wall and a long wall measuring 4 ft (1.22 m). This separate area provides space for riding essentials without relying on the horse compartment for storage. The escape door offers another way out of the horse area.

Materials & Build

A steel frame supports aluminum exterior skin. Empty weight is 3,400 lb (1,542 kg), with a gross vehicle weight rating of 8,750 lb (3,969 kg).

Axle rating is 3,500 lb (1,588 kg). Confirm the trailer's rating plate, axle configuration, and usable load capacity before planning a load. Inspect the floor and tires and verify tow-vehicle compatibility before use.

What's Included

• Two-horse trailer with dressing room and escape door
• Manual jack
• Spare tire

Ideal Uses

A practical choice for owners seeking a two-horse gooseneck with separate gear space. Suitability depends on individual horse measurements, loading needs, and the tow vehicle's ratings.
